Kamiqua Lake is named top 3 Black PR professional

Our Founder and CEO, Kamiqua Lake, has been named number 3 on the PR Week UK list of top Black PR professionnals

Lake is the founder of Coldr, a strategy, PR and social purpose communications agency with clients including Lloyds Banking Group, British Airways and the Lankelly Chase Foundation. Frustrated by the lack of Black representation in the industry, she established the UK Black Comms Network to empower Black professionals in PR, marketing and communications. Through her leadership, Lake has created a thriving professional community that provides support, opportunities and visibility for black practitioners across the industry. Since 2020, the network has been surveying Black and mixed Black heritage communications professionals in the UK about their experiences in the sector – last year’s survey was undertaken in partnership with PRWeek. Speaking recently on PRWeek’s Beyond the Noise podcast, Lake shared advice on the biggest challenges for Black professionals in 2025.
