New Client: Tommy’s

Coldr is working with Tommy’s to help stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe.

Black women are four times more likely to die during pregnancy, childbirth, or the postnatal period than White women. Asian women face twice the risk, and women of mixed ethnicity 1.3 times the risk.

Improving equity and embedding community centred strategies is at the heart of what we do, so we’re proud to be partnering with Tommy’s, the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby research charity, to ensure its research, resources better serve all communities.

Through strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and culturally fluent communications, we’ll be supporting Tommy’s to ensure the research the organisation funds has a clear equity lens, engages the communities where the need is most urgent and ensure insights drive meaningful change.

This work will strengthen Tommy’s impact in tackling inequalities in Black and Asian maternal health, which is  a crucial step towards making pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.

Together, we hope to help more families bring their babies home, and to do that, we must make sure we’re addressing the needs of those most vulnerable.
