THE RESULTS

We secured coverage in top-tier publications such as Vogue Business. The launch event generated positive feedback from attendees about the programme’s impact on Black women entrepreneurs.

 

BRIEF

eBay tasked Coldr with launching Black in Boom, their hub featuring Black women entrepreneurs from the Black Girl Fest x eBay Seller Academy. 

APPROACH

We undertook focus groups and in-depth research to prioritised understanding the unique experiences of Black women entrepreneurs. This informed our creative wrapper ‘Black In Bloom’ and a compelling news story to engage national, lifestyle and Black media outlets. 

We partnered with Refinery 29 for paid media, and hosted a successful launch event featuring influencer and poet Simply Sayo , where she recited her viral poem “Soft Life” at Black-owned restaurant, Akoko which was attended by influencers and media.
